    Annegret Tenhengel

    February 19, 1964 - February 6, 2022

    Annegret was born in Coesfeld , Germany which is part of Westfalia. She moved to Clemson ,SC as a young child with her parents Klaus and Ilse Grube. She got her bachelors degree at The Clemson School of Nursing. She worked as an RN at Duke Medical Center, Presbyterian Orthopedic Center / Charlotte, NC, Mercy Medical Center / Charlotte, NC and Presbyterian Medical Center / Matthews, NC. She later went on to work as the Respite Coordinator for Mecklenburg County, NC. She enjoyed working in the medical field very much. She was a very caring person who would go out of her way to help someone in need. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family members. Annegret is survived by her Husband Tim Tenhengel, parents Klaus and Ilse Grube, brother in law David Tenhengel, niece Morgan Tenhengel, Morgans husband Justin and their son Eliot, and aunts, uncles and cousins in Germany. Her husband Tim would also like to thank the medical staff at Novant Medical Center in Matthews ,NC, our family members in New Jersey, California and our friends in various parts of the country for their caring ,comfort and support during this sorrowful time. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn East Cemetery on Saturday, February 12 at 3 PM. Following the graveside the family will receive friends and guest at Heritage Funeral Home - Weddington Chapel.
