Carlos Raimundo Ramos Of Waxhaw, NC Carlos, 71, passed away on May 15, 2022. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 1pm at Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail Chapel officiated by Fr. Miguel Sanchez. The family will receive friends beginning at 12pm. Burial will be private. Carlos was born September 14, 1950, in Uruguay to the late Raimundo and Teresa (Lanzaro) Ramos. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Pilar Cioffi. Carlos immigrated to the United States in 1969 from his country and started his family in New York. He later relocated to North Carolina. Carlos’s passion in life was in cooking. He enjoyed his retirement with his spouse and spending time with family. Mr. Ramos was an Operation Analyst for HSBC Bank. He was strong in his faith and attended St. Matthew Catholic Church. Carlos loved and dedicated his life to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Mariana (Bedoya) Ramos; children, Gene P. Ramos and Tania V. Inga (Steve); brother, Gabriel Ramos; 4 grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House of Union County or to the Diabetic Association.
