Edith T. Moore

Edith T. Moore, age 90, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Atrium Health-Pineville. She was born on July 8, 1931 in Rowan County, North Carolina. Edith was the daughter of the late Garland and Esther Michael. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00AM at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church 300 Pineville-Matthews Road, Matthews North Carolina 28105. The family will receive friends starting at 10:30AM at the church on Saturday. Edith worked for many years at Carolina’s Medical Center of Charlotte. She was a cherished member of Cross and Crown Lutheran Church where she was also a choir member and the “hug” greeter. She will be dearly missed. Edith is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robie Q. Moore and son, Timothy Q, Moore. Edith is survived by her son, Michael W. Moore, wife Terry of Weddington, North Carolina; her brother, Ned Troutman and his daughters, Sandy Montgomery, husband Kevin of Prattville, Alabama and Neddie Troutman of Colorado. Three grandchildren; Kim Delp, husband Aaron, Jill Fuller, husband Tony, and Andrew Moore, wife Lauren. Seven great-grandchildren Luke Moore, Claire Delp, Elijah Fuller, Lydia Delp, Emmy Fuller, Ryan Moore and Mason Moore; niece Mettie Smith, husband Larry and many other nieces, nephews and loved ones. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, 300 Pineville-Matthews Road Matthews, North Carolina 28105.
