Jerry Michael Farrell

November 19, 1938 - April 9, 2022

On the morning of Saturday, April 9, 2022 Jerry Michael Farrell, 83, ended his struggle with Alzheimer's and passed from this life into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jerry was born November 19, 1938 to Daniel and Nora (Scott) Farrell in Gastonia, North Carolina. Throughout his life, he had many adventures with family and friends. Jerry cherished his family and valued time spent together as the most precious gift. Jerry is survived by his wife Sylvia Farrell, his sons, Scott (Robin) Farrell and Steve (Debbie), step-son Brian (Mary Lou) Scott, step-daughter Dawn (Javier) Nunez. Granddaughters, Chelsea (Tee) Fauling and Lindsay Farrell, grandson Andrew Farrell. He was predeceased by his first wife Jewel Stroupe Farrell in 2013. Family and friends are invited to remember Jerry's life on Wednesday, April 13 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church Indian Trail, burial at 2:00pm on the grounds of Alexis Baptist Church in Alexis, North Carolina. Immediate family will receive friends and family at the home of Sylvia Farrell at 4:00PM. Jerry's gentle, caring nature brightened the lives of his family and friends, and all who met him along his journey. It is with great joy that we recall that even when his mind forgot, his heart remembered; his legacy will remain always one of love and kindness. We can only imagine what you are seeing and all the new friends you are making! We love you dad. We love you Nap (Na-paw).
