    Patricia Anne Quinn

    February 27, 1933 - April 2, 2019

    Patricia Anne Quinn, 86, known as P.A., passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Brookdale Weddington Park. She was born on February 27, 1933 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Eula Burke and William Herbert Ellis. Pat was a dedicated homemaker who cared deeply for her family. She enjoyed all her friends at Weddington United Methodist Church and found great joy in volunteering to work with handicapped kids. Pat was sincerely interested in her friends, family, and acquaintances offering to help if she could, or just listen to what they had to say. She is survived by her husband, Jim of 65 years, her three children, Barb Craig (Bill), Terri Quinn, Jim Quinn, Jr., (Diana). Five grandchildren; Joe Nigro, Kyle Nigro (Toniann), Lindsay Cunningham (Matt), Kate Mozer and Christian Quinn (Brianna); three great grandsons: Quinn Cunningham, Owen Cunningham and Kent Quinn. In addition, she is survived by her twin sister, Mary Jane Anderson and brother Bill Ellis (Shirley) and one nephew and her nieces. A celebration of Pat's life will be held at Weddington United Methodist Church on Friday, April 5th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's name to Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region: www.hospicecare.org; Jay Emery Sunday School Class at www.weddingtonchurch.org; or the Parkinson's Research at www.parkinson.org.
