Wade Presley Brookover Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Wade Presley Brookover, 67 of Indian Trail, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 10th, 2022. He is preceded by his parents Harold and Jean (Sutton) Brookover, and first-born daughter Jennifer Brookover. Wade is survived by his wife Linda Brookover of 30 years, daughter Priscillla (Brookover) Eaton and her husband Jordan, son Benjamin Brookover and his fiance Megan Kite, sisters Robby (Brookover) Barton and Sue Brookover, soon-to-be two grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Growing up in West Virginia Wade was an Eagle Scout, a defender of those who were bullied, and grew up to be a connoisseur of collecting trinkets of all kinds. Wade will be remembered for telling the best dad jokes, his dependability, unconditional kindness towards everyone, and endless love for this family. He was truly a one of a kind hippie, self-proclaimed “junk-a-holic”, and will certainly be “tickled pink” with his new bionic knees in Heaven. His family will miss seeing his headlamp wandering around at all hours of the night outside, techno music blasting in the background - probably waiting to be abducted by aliens or running into BigFoot. Wade was a funny man, loved by many, and if you were lucky enough to know him - he probably blamed a fart or two on you.
