William "Bill" Thomas McCormack Sr.

On Friday, April 29, 2022, William “Bill” Thomas McCormack, Sr., passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the age of 71. William was born on March 16, 1951 in Gallatin, Tennessee to James and Annette McCormack. William attended technical college and later retired as a computer analyst. William lived in Tennessee and Florida before settling in Matthews, North Carolina. William will be remembered as a giving and loving man. He was full of life, and it showed while he enjoyed his motorcycle, playing poker, and being with his family and many friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, James Shaw McCormack, Sr. and Annette Moncrief McCormack, and nephew James Shaw McCormack III. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jorgensen of Sunrise, Florida; his two children, William T. McCormack, Jr. and wife Ana of Indian Trail, North Carolina and Peggy McCormack Ebner and husband Michael of Alachua, Florida; his grandchildren William T. McCormack III, Kileigh J. McCormack, Sara K. McCormack, and Robert S. McCormack; Brothers, James Shaw McCormack, Jr., John Patrick McCormack and wife Lisa; Nephews; Kyle and Patrick McCormack; great nephew, Jared McCormack, and stepsons Shawn, Keith and Ryan Jorgensen.
