Alice Kathleen Jackson

Alice Kathleen (Kenney) Jackson passed away in her home in Charlotte, NC on January 11, 2022. Kathy is proceeded in death by her father Lisle Kenney and the love of her life for 52 years, Jack Jackson. She is survived by her mother Vivian Maguire of Keystone Heights, FL, son Lee Jackson, Charlotte and daughter Michelle (Ron) Smith Charlotte; grandchildren Chad (Kyrie) Smith, Charlotte, Lauren Smith, Charlotte, and Kaila Smith of Charleston, SC. Two sisters Lynda (Mike) Knight of Keystone, Florida, Kim (Travis) Jolley of Keystone, FL, sister in law Gale Warner of Ocala, Florida; seven nieces/nephews, 2 great nephews 1 great-niece due in April. Kathy was born September 9, 1947 in Duval County Florida. She was a teacher at Madeira Baptist in Orange Park, Florida. After moving to Charlotte she picked up her passion for education at Weddington United Methodist in 2004. After retiring she continued as a substitute while also working at United Faith Christian Academy for the last three years. Memorial Services will be held at 13901 Providence Road Weddington, NC 28104 on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
