Carl Joseph Hogan

Carl Joseph Hogan passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. Carl was born on December 28, 1965 in Long Beach, CA. He spent his childhood and early years growing up in CA. As a young adult, he moved to Phoenix, AZ where he married and started a family. Soon thereafter, he relocated to Charlotte, NC where he spent almost twenty years, while his two children were growing up. He recently spent some time in Ohio and New Mexico. Carl loved to be around people, whether it be his many friends or family members. His vibrant personality and sense of humor and laughter were infectious and touched all that knew him, wherever he went. Carl is survived by his two children, Travis and Miranda Hogan and their mother Cheryl Pozzi Hogan, of Charlotte NC. Carl is also survived by his mother, Carol Draper and her husband, William Draper, of Monroe, NC, as well as his sister, Kelly Hogan Sheaves, and his brother Robert Hogan, of Marietta, OH. He is predeceased by his father, John Hogan. Travis and Miranda Hogan will hold a funeral mass for their father on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Mint Hill, NC with Father Paul Q. Gary, celebrant. Any floral tributes should either be sent to the church for delivery the day of the funeral or to the Hogan home directly. The church office and funeral home will be closed prior to that for the holidays.
