Daniel John Harthan

Daniel John Harthan ,”Danny”, 50 , Matthews North Carolina passed away on December 27th, 2021. He was born on August 10th, 1971. Danny was born in Norman, Oklahoma. He was the son of David and Janet Harthan. Danny had many accomplishments throughout his life, he earned his Master of Business Administration from UNCC, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in math at Taylor University. He lived in Brazil for 18 years with his missionary parents and then moved to the U.S to serve in the Coast Guard for two years. Danny was married for 24 years, He is survived by his spouse Claudia Harthan, his two children Gigi and Gabi. His brother Joey Harthan, Andi Harthan, his sister-in-law. Kayla Harthan, his niece, and his nephew Christian. His pet Luna – Jack Russell. Danny was a Christian who wanted to be remembered as a family man. He was an amazing father and husband. He was a patient and compassionate teacher who gave selflessly. Some of Danny’s hobbies included playing Nintendo Wii, hiking, watching movies, going to the beach, and playing piano. Danny was gifted with a beautiful voice and love for music which he used to serve the Lord he so loved.
