Rosemarie Strom Of Matthews, NC Mrs. Strom, 90, passed away on February 17, 2022. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2:30pm at Mathews Glen (Formerly Plantation Estates) Chapel. Rosemarie was born September 7, 1931 in Washington D.C., only child of William and Paula (Pelz) Birner. Mrs. Strom was a long term residence of Hartsdale NY and a graduated from Berkeley and later received a bachelor degree from Mercy College in NY. Rosemarie was an executive secretary for various companies, but enjoyed being the Membership Director at Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY. She had an appreciation for art and the talent to create it. She dedicated her life to her parents, children and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Strom of Charlotte and Paula Strom of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Peter W. and Christina Haering and Michael, Daniel and Matthew Mallon. Rosemarie was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Erica Strom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Acts Employee Catastrophic Fund or Matthews Glen Samaritan Fund.
